Boarding

Vaccinations

In order to provide a healthy environment for all of our boarding residents, we require all of the pets boarding at Village Animal Hospital to be current on their vaccinations. Vaccinations are very important to protect your pet during their stay at any boarding facility. Only vaccinations administered by a veterinarian will be accepted. These include DHPP within a year, Rabies within 1-3 years depending on the age of your pet. We also require Bordetella (kennel cough) to be given within the last year. Click here for information about Kennel Cough from the American Veterinary Medical Association. We will gladly update your pet’s vaccinations when you bring them in for boarding, although vaccinations are most effective when given prior to boarding.

Facilities

Village Animal Hospital is equipped with stainless steel cages for small to medium dogs. Runs are available for larger dogs. Due to the smaller number of runs available, boarding appointments for large dogs should be made well in advance. Holidays and other special weekends such as the OU/Texas game can fill up quickly. You may call our office at (405)751-1437 to make boarding reservations for your pet(s).
